ABOUT THE SCHOOL

The school has recently moved into a new building after having shared the high school facility with secondary school students. Students and staff are excited in having a school of their own.

St. Andrew’s School is a JK to Grade 6 school with 310 students.

MISSION STATEMENT

Education at St. Andrew’s School should give our children the knowledge, attitude and skills necessary to develop a sense of self-worth, confidence and pride as Native people; to develop a respect for others and the environment; to participate fully in community life; and to participate actively in Canadian society.

PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

I believe that every student has the right and ability to learn, and that it is our mission, school personnel, parents and the community to provide a positive environment that sets high expectations, promotes, self-management of learning, and establishes support systems that enable students to take risk in their academic and social learning.

Our staff and students are looking forward to moving in into our own building. A place of learning and growth for our students. Where memories will be made and hopes build by all who enter the building.

Parents and guardians are always welcome to come and visit the school and the classrooms . So, we encourage you to stop by and visit your child’s class and see the excitement of learning that is taking place.
